Plot

The plot takes us to the origin story of the mighty lion king, Mufasa. The film dives into the initial journey of Simba's father, touching the aspects of his rise from a lost cub to the leader of the pride. The wise mandrill Rafiki recalls Mufasa's journey alongside Taka in a tale of friendship, legacy, and destiny. The narrative delves into story of scar as well with his friendship and jealousy with Mufasa.

Acting

Voice acting by Aaron Pierre delivers a strong portrayal of Mufasa, balancing courage with humility. Kelvin Harrison Jr. does a good job as Taka(Scar), capturing the character's evolution. Mads Mikkelsen enhances the character of Kiros, the ferocious leader of the Outsiders. Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen just like their earlier stint did great as Timon and Pumbaa, injecting humour and chemistry.
