Fukrey 3: Movie Review

Plot

It's been a decade since the first 'Fukrey' movie and now, the gang is back with a common agenda - to contest an election against Bholi Panjaban. The movie revolves around their cat-and-mouse game, conning and fooling each other, while keeping the audience entertained with its humor and multiple storylines.

Acting

The strong point of 'Fukrey 3' is its ensemble cast, who deliver hilarious performances. Varun Sharma brilliantly revives Choocha's charm and signature 'Deja Chu.' Pankaj Tripathi steals the show with his wobbly English and steady wit. The chemistry between the actors is still going strong, and their dimwit energy is tailor-made for frivolous applause.

Cinematography

The movie takes the audience on a journey from East Delhi to South Africa. The cinematography beautifully captures the different locations, from coal mines to an amusement park, and adds depth to the storytelling.

Direction

Mrighdeep Singh Lamba knows how to make his audience laugh and ask for more. With his direction, he adds dimensions and depth to the character arcs, making them funnier and sweeter. However, the movie falters in the second half, trying to incorporate too much and ending up with a mishmash that is sometimes hard to digest.

Music

The music is a low point of the movie, with none of the tracks standing out. It is passable but doesn't leave a lasting impression.

Conclusion

'Fukrey 3' is a funny and entertaining movie that delivers as per the expectations. The strong performances, witty dialogues, and beautiful cinematography make it an enjoyable watch. However, it encounters roadblocks in the second half and relies too heavily on toilet humor. If you're a fan of the franchise and don't mind mindless jokes and crass humor, you'll enjoy 'Fukrey 3'. But if you can't stand toilet humor, this movie may not be for you.
