Movie Review: Ganapath
Plot
In Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon's Ganapath, story set in a dystopian world, 'Ganapath' is depicted as a hero who has come to rescue people from their misery. With high tech drones flying all over the sky and a food crisis plaguing the population sets the base of the movie. Ganapath aka Guddu (Tiger Shroff) transforms into a hero upon discovering his true identity.
Acting
Unfortunately, the performances in Ganapath are lackluster. Tiger Shroff's unenthusiastic performance fails to compensate for his impressive physique. Kriti Sanon shines in her action scenes but is given limited scope to showcase her talent. Amitabh Bachchan's cameo is powerful but too short-lived.
Cinematography
The cinematography in Ganapath is visually appealing. The dystopian world is portrayed effectively, with vibrant visuals in the Silver City. However, the substandard VFX detracts from the overall experience.
Direction
Vikas Bahl's direction in Ganapath falls flat. The film lacks world-building and fails to effectively execute its premise. The screenplay is weak and struggles to convey a coherent story. Bahl tries to pack in too much without saying anything concrete.
Overall Verdict
Ganapath is a disappointing film that fails to engage its audience. Despite its intriguing premise, the execution falls short in every aspect. The lackluster performances, weak screenplay, and substandard VFX make it a misfire. Only watch Ganapath if you're solely interested in Tiger Shroff's dance and action sequences.
