Plot:

Farzi is a thrilling series that revolves around Sunny, a struggling artist who turns to counterfeiting money to save his grandfather's newspaper. His fake currency catches the attention of an anti-counterfeiting unit led by Michael, a maverick cop, and a criminal network run by Mansoor Dalal, an underworld kingpin. Sunny's life is turned upside down as he is pulled into the world of organized crime and his greed begins to take over.

Acting:

The series boasts of an impressive cast, including Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, and Amol Palekar. Shahid Kapoor delivers a remarkable performance and is well-supported by his co-actors who bring their A-game to the table.

Cinematography:

The series is well-shot and captures the gritty realities of post-demonetisation India. The locations, including the Middle-East, Kathmandu, and Mumbai, are effectively used to create a dynamic and engaging visual canvas.

Direction:

Raj & DK, the creators of The Family Man, do a fine job in pulling off the difficult task of balancing action with emotional depth. The series flows well, and the pacing is just right. However, there are times when the series derails itself with unnecessary subplots.

Overall:

Farzi is an engaging and thrilling series that delivers on its promises. The series may not be perfect, but it is definitely worth a watch for its stellar cast, gripping storyline, and impressive direction.
