Plot

Corporate woman Satya Prabhakar gets trapped in her office building and finds herself in danger. With no one to help her, she turns to her colleague RO, but their situation takes a nasty turn when they uncover a dead body. Satya battles to survive this tragic night that can change everything.

Acting

Pavail Gulati delivers a strong performance as RO, convincingly portraying his character's murky shades. Rakul Preet Singh leaves no stone unturned as she delves into her survival instinct and navigates the moments of panic and doubt with aplomb. Akshay Oberoi makes his presence felt in his limited role.

Cinematography

The film creates a nostalgic aura of the 90s with popular songs like ‘Tu Mile Dil Khile’ and ‘Rooth Na Jana Tumse Kahoon Toh.' The cinematography does not add much to the plot but keeps the audience engaged.

Direction

Writer-director Nikhil Mahajan uses a fast-paced screenplay to keep the viewers engaged. He fails to build any mystery or provide any backstory to the characters, especially RO, who acts like a lunatic.

Overall Impression

"I Love You" is a predictable thriller. Though the storyline is predictable, the film benefits from strong performances that leave an impression. The film is forgettable, but it won't test your patience, watch it only for performances.
