Plot:

Maja Ma tries to explore the journey of a woman coming out to her family and finding acceptance. However, the film fails to offer anything new. The plot is predictable, and the makers could have delved deeper into the subject, making it a more intriguing watch. The film tries to take the conversation around LGBTQIA+ forward but ends up falling short.

Acting:

Madhuri Dixit is the highlight of the film, carrying it on her shoulders and delivering an impactful performance. Gajraj Rao also delivers a flawless performance. Simone Singh, in her brief role, manages to stand out and steals the show with her wit and charm. However, the supporting cast, including Ritwik Bhowmik and Srishti Shrivastava, fail to leave a lasting impact.
