Plot
In "Ruslaan," the story revolves around Aayush Sharma's character, who seeks to shake off the dark shadow of his father, a terrorist. Adopted by the anti-terrorism squad chief after his parents' death, Ruslaan grows up with a passion for music. Despite warnings, he joins RAW and becomes entangled in a dangerous mission against a notorious terrorist.
Acting
Aayush Sharma impresses with his acting skills, with action and emotional depth in his performance. Debutant Sushrii Shreya Mishraa and seasoned actor Jagapathi Babu also deliver good performances. Vidya Malavade's portrayal of a RAW agent is aptly cast, bringing freshness to the role. Overall, the cast's performances look upto the mark if not brilliant.
Cinematography
The action choreography in "Ruslaan" is commendable, with close-up shots highlighting the effort put into making each stunt stand out. The film's visuals capture the thrilling action sequences effectively. Despite some shortcomings, the cinematography enhances the overall impact of the film.
Direction
Director Karan Lalit Butani's choice of cast and execution of action sequences in "Ruslaan" deserve applause. While the film's first half may lack unpredictability, the second half delivers engaging moments but unfortunately the pace of events make it look like too much happening in this short span of time.
Conclusion
"Ruslaan" is an action-packed film that offers a blend of thrilling sequences and emotional depth. Aayush Sharma's performance shines and in lot of scenes you will observe that he follows Salman Khan's style. Overall, the film fails to impress maybe due to weak script and coherence of the events but for the audience of action genre it could be a one time watch.
