Plot:

Tadka: Love Is Cooking tells the story of Tuki (Nana Patekar), an archaeologist and RJ Madhura (Shriya Saran), who accidentally connect through a phone call. What follows is a unique love story heavily influenced by food. The story by Dillesh K Nair and Shyam Pushkaran is refreshing and unique, with food playing an important character in the film. However, the plot is predictable, but the lead couple's passion for cooking and eating good food strengthens their bond even more.

Acting:

Nana Patekar convincingly played the role of a middle-aged man living a routine and uncomplicated life. Shriya Saran appeared attractive, but she has given better performances in other films. Both characters did well in portraying their respective complexities on their own, but their chemistry falls flat. Ali Fazal and Tapsee Pannu provide solid support, but their roles are too cliched and underutilized.

Cinematography:

The cinematography of Tadka: Love Is Cooking is average and nothing extraordinary. The film is shot in various locations in Goa, which adds a bit of color to the film.

Direction:

The film is directed by Prakash Raj, who has previously directed various films in other languages. The film's pacing is decent, but it becomes sluggish at parts. Raj could have done a better job in bringing out the on-screen chemistry between the lead couple.

Verdict:

Tadka: Love Is Cooking is a bland blend of food and love that could have been much better. The film's predictable plot and underutilized cast make it an average watch. However, Nana Patekar's comedic timing is flawless, and the love story's natural comedy ka tadka is quite appealing. If you're a foodie, you might enjoy the film's unique perspective on food's role in relationships. But, as a whole, the film fails to leave a lasting impression.
