The movie revolves around how he uses his experience and skills to protect the people of his town.

Acting

It proves why Denzel Washington is an iconic actor in Hollywood who never fails to bring his characters to life. The reunion with Dakota Fanning after two decades adds another layer of depth to the film.

Cinematography

The film's picturesque setting of Italy adds to its visual appeal. The action sequences are brutal and thrilling with perfect musical score adding depth to this action thriller.

Direction

Director Antoine Fuqua knows how to best utilize Denzel Washington's talents. Despite the script sticking to familiar territory, Fuqua maintains the pulse of the previous two movies without making the audience feel fatigued by the action and extreme violence.

Overall Review

"The Equalizer 3" is a worthy finale to the trilogy. While it may not offer anything innovative, it is nonetheless entertaining. Denzel Washington's presence alone makes the film worth watching, as he delivers a captivating performance. The film's brutal action sequences and underlying sense of justice keep the audience engaged until the end. Although the central character of Robert McCall is a mysterious figure in all black, the film explores deeper layers of his personality, focusing on mental health, age, and guilt that follows the violence. The twist in the end and the terrific opening sequence add to the overall excitement. If you are a fan of action thrillers and enjoy Denzel Washington's performances, "The Equalizer 3" is a good watch.
