Vijay's portrayal of the lead character will especially appeal to his loyal fanbase, making the film an entertaining watch for fans of the actor.

Cinematography

Siddhartha Nuni's cinematography adds punch to the action sequences in Thalapathy, enhancing the visual appeal of the film. The use of special effects while showing the explosions does not justify the need of the scenes .Despite some flaws, the cinematography overall contributes to the film's aesthetics.

Direction

Writer and director Venkat Prabhu's execution of Thalapathy delivers a fast-paced and action-packed narrative, though the pacing is uneven with inappropriate timings of the songs and sequences that disrupt the flow. While the film may not offer a fresh premise, Prabhu's direction keeps the audience engaged with Vijay's slick stunts and the compelling storyline.

The movie may have some shortcomings, including a lengthy runtime and noticeable technical flaws, Vijay's performance, supported by a talented cast, makes it a worthwhile watch for those who enjoy adrenaline-pumping action sequences and thrilling narratives.
